Smart Mobility
The challenge for the 2011 Atos IT Challenge focused on Smart Mobility.
In particular, we were looking for participants to consider: “which applications could leverage smart mobile devices to enhance people’s lives through real time contextual information?”, and to be able demonstrate this by building a solution and showing the result in real-life.

The team presented a creative idea that allows for a different viewing experience when visiting a sport event, concert, or business conference – a true leverage of smart mobile devices.
Snackium
University of Mannheim in Germany
The team built an app that helps in generating additional revenue besides selling tickets in large venues. With the help of the Snackium app the venues could easily sell more food/drinks or even fan merchandise.
Housefix
University of Warwick in the UK
The team presented an app combining domotic technology with mobile app technology to not only guard your asset but also to focus on energy savings. The solution integrated information from local suppliers to help you solve the “failures”.
